The key to caring for a ZZ Plant is to avoid overwatering. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. During the growing season (spring and summer), you can water more frequently, 1 but always ensure the top inch or two of soil is dry before watering again. Reduce watering significantly in autumn and winter. Place in low to bright indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
