About Us

“A bunch of flowers is lovely for a week, but a plant keeps saying ‘thinking of you’ for months, even years.”
Vicky, director

We started Plants By Post in 2015 to send high quality plants as gifts, wrapped in a way we'd be proud to receive ourselves. We're still a small team: every plant is hand picked, checked and packed by hand, wrapped in eco-friendly paper and can be sent with free UK delivery.

Sending a plant gift? Your questions answered

How quickly will my plant gift arrive?

Free standard delivery to UK mainland addresses takes 2–3 working days. Order before 11am Monday to Friday and we'll dispatch the same day.

Can I choose the delivery date?

Yes. Pick a date at checkout so it arrives on the right day: £4.95 for a chosen weekday or £6.95 for weekend delivery. Perfect for birthdays and anniversaries.

Is gift wrapping free?

Yes. Select our free eco-friendly paper wrap with its monstera leaf design on the product page. Premium gift wrap is available for £3.99 at checkout. (Gift wrapping isn't available on bedding plants.)

Can I add a personal message?

Of course. Add your gift message at checkout and we'll include it with the plant.

What if my plant arrives damaged?

Every plant comes with our 30-day plant health guarantee. If anything isn't right, contact us with a photo of the plant and its packaging and we'll put it right quickly.

How can I contact you?
